Warhammer Online and World of Warcraft Subscriber Stats For October
Warhammer Online’s subscriber count has finally hit the 800,000 mark, but supposedly that is the stat at the end of September. I’m sure that if they hit 1 million it would be a fairly large milestone for them so they probably would have announced it by now. I’m not too worried for them since, World of Warcraft only had about 250,000 on the initial release so its a nice start. Read more

Now I get addicted to games pretty easily. My most recent one as you probably have assumed is Warhammer Online. Although at one point I was pretty addicted to World of Warcraft, but not quite as much as this guy.

How’d you like to get paid to study a MMORPG game? Well these guys somehow managed to convince people over at the University of California Irvine to give them $100,000 dollars for a study on World of Warcraft. Yea that’s right studying a pc game for college, what’s this world coming to.

In the last month there’s been some buzz about the recent refer a friend feature in World of Warcraft. For those of you that haven’t heard about it yet. It has some new features that has makes leveling up to the end game pretty trivial, and one of those new features enabled someone to level up to 60 in 20 minutes or so.
