Got Bored So I Installed Ruby on Rails, Or Tried To Atleast
Lately I’ve been having bouts with insomnia. Being awake till the sun comes out, and having to go to work on 2 hours of sleep is not a good thing. Note: Blogging about the whole ordeal afterwards when I should be going to sleep is also not a good thing. However I’m very happy at my accomplishment tonight so I thought I’d share my results with the world.

Going Back to Basics – DnD 4th Edition
So my friends have recently started getting really bored with MMORPGs in general. While I still play Warhammer Online daily, they have all unsubscribed from their accounts. Even though I try to see if I can get them to resubscribe so that I can get an in game pet they refuse to do so. So now what are my friends delving into? They are going back to the basics, and origins, of all MMORPGs. Yes, you guessed it, good old fashioned table top gaming via Dungeon and Dragons(D&D) 4th edition(4e).

Well server merges from Azazel to Volkmar along with Sylvania looks like it was a good thing. Its been a while since I’ve actually seen the whole RvR lake get filled up with active battle markers. Our Azazel Server is Moving. I’m Off to Volkmar.
Okay so most of you probably want to hear more about Choppas and Slayers becoming available now on the play test server, but for me that wasn’t really big news. I mean who wants to play a Choppa or a Slayer on a dead server? The big news for me on the recent Herald was this one: Free Character Transfers – 2/19/2009. Especially after we’ve been trying for a few weeks now to get the attention of Mythic regarding our horribly unbalanced low pop server Azazel. I mean its pretty bad if I blog about it, and I haven’t been very active recently about blogging. To be honest, with the lack of population on the server it has been hard to even talk much about anything we do there. I’m sure a blog post of just hey I logged on today, waited for a scenario to pop for 30 minutes, and then logged off to play an alt on another server would have been interesting news to people.
