Another month has passed, and its already time to bring up earnings. Funny thing about having posts sitting in drafts, and forgetting about them. I found that I’ve had like 5 posts carried over from my Blogger blog, that made it into this Wordpress one in draft form. Among them the November post, which I had apparently forgotten to post as well. So I’ll post both months earnings here.

December Totals: $176.06

Sparter – $144.40

Cashcrate – $7.91

Clickbank – $16.61

Adsense – $5.07

Squidoo – $2.07

November Totals: $19.84

Clickbank – $16.37

Adsesnse – $3.47

For 2007 it looks like I made about $1799.32 cents.

Not bad for part time blogging, and most of the time playing games. I couldn’t seem to win any money yet from Moola, but there seems to be people cashing out $10-20 daily. Most I’ve gotten to was about $5 or so before I started losing games. I think I’m just going to spin the daily wheel, and hope for some money that way instead. I’ll add Moola to the list of earnings when I receive payment, and not before though.

Selling gold from World of Warcraft via Sparter seems to be the way to go right now, but I do want to learn other ways of making money online. I wish Sparter had an affiliate referral program of sorts. I noticed I was getting some hits from an ip in China with a small time gold seller’s domain, which clicked on the Sparter exit links alot. I also now see them listing their rates now on Sparter so if I missed out on some major referral monies I’ll be very sad =P.

Cashcrate was a little surprise since I haven’t logged into it for over a month, and then out of the blue I get a notice saying a referral of mine has reached payout. Its nice to know that there’s passive ways of making money online too. Just let the search engines catch your Cashcrate reviews from these blogs to generate revenue. One thing I did notice though, the post that received a lot of attention was the Cashcrate check picture(it had the most referral exit clicks). It seems like more than anything people want to know if you’re actually going to receive a payment rather than the program itself. The previous post I made about Cashcrate didn’t get many referrals, but once the proof was up I got about 5 people who signed up within the week. I need to make a note of that when doing reviews of any site, to also include the payment proofs to convince more people to sign up under me.Clickbank was the result of an Adwords driven sale, and not one of the guide book links I had up on my old blog. I hope to replicate the sale by finding other products among their list. I spent about $3 dollars on Adwords to get the sale selling Valkor’s Gold Guide. However the search demand for it wasn’t as high as I’d hope. I need to learn more about keyword researching to make better Adword ads. The good thing though is that I’m in the black with that campaign.

So what can I do now to increase my monthly take. Lets see, I’ve joined up with Amazon, and planning on reapplying this blog to Azoogle now that its on its own host. I hear great things about Azoogle’s pay per lead programs so I’ll look into those as well. Also since I moved over to this domain, I’ve been able to add some 125×125 slots up on the top right. I plan to sell some of those slots as I get build more traffic and readers. Chris over at MattNutts(No not Matt’s Nuts) created a Blog ad market called Focial.com. Which is kind of like an Ebay style method of selling ads via bids. When I decide to sell another slot on there I’ll post about it here to let you all know. I even saw someone selling Entrecard credits on there. He’s even got a referral program starting up so get in before everyone else signs up. There’s currently a listing for a 125×125 ad space from a PR 4 blog for only $5/month bid last I checked.

In the mean while I’m starting to gett a little addicted to blogging so hopefully that means I’ll write some more posts. The busiest part of the season for my day job just finished up, so I should have a little more time after I get home from work to blog. Also I’ve been thinking about putting up a small arcade on this site, but that’s another day.

With the check Maki got a whopping $5.28(picture is still hosted on a free image server). This got me thinking that everyone who starts out needs to start from somewhere. Back in 2006, it seems like Maki was doing quite a bit of reviews on Get-Paid-To websites, until moving onto the internet marketing niche which seems to be more of the focus nowadays.

What’s the point of this post, your probably asking. I was just looking for a little bit of inspiration I guess. Knowing that another person who is currently successful in gathering a large audience also started out by doing programs like CashCrate is always enlightening. Especially if the first CashCrate check I got was bigger. It just means that I need to work harder, try out more programs, and find new things to do.

Its also good to know that people can change around or maybe change the focus of what their blog’s talk about over the course of time. Its nice to know that blogs or the topic of blogs can evolve at the same time that the writer grows and matures. Sometimes for worse, but most of the time for the better. Who knows what I’ll be writing about a year from today. Will I still be logged into World of Warcraft making gold to sell? Will my blog still be about me making money online?

Are you a blogger that is just starting out? What plans do you have a year from now? What inspires you or what makes you keep going?

It seems like lately every time I have good news, I also have bad news to share. I should rename my blog the yin/yang effect or something. Anyways my first check from CashCrate has just arrived so I WAS going to take a picture of it. Until I found out that my camera no longer works. So I’m sending a picture that I took from my camera phone, which btw is also on its last leg.

I’ll just be borrowing the camera from work to take a full size picture of the check next time. The total check amount was for 20.25, which was about the same as the total on my September Earnings. I guess this will going towards my buying another @%!% camera fund. Anyways if your new to CashCrate, you can check out my other CashCrate review posts.

About a month ago I wrote up a review on CashCrate, and followed it up with a payout report a few days later. Well I’m pleased to announce that I was finally able to reach payout again this month. Due to soo many people going on vacation at my full time job, I’ve had to scale back the time for doing alot of these offers so when CashCrate sends me a check next month it won’t be as large. This month will only be about $10.60 so far, bring my CashCrate total to $30.65 so far.

I have to be honest though I wasn’t intending on completing any offers this month due to work load, but as I had received an e-mail from CashCrate notifying me that one of my referrals had reached payout. Thus entitling me to a $3.00 bonus, along with earning 20% of their earnings. So when I logged into my account I already had $5.00+ sitting there without me doing a thing($3.00 bonus + 20% of $10 = $5.00). Well this made it really easy to do a few offers to get that extra $5.00, and whammo here I am with another payout post.

How does CashCrate’s referrals work?
The program has a 2 tier approach meaning you can refer/invite someone, and if your referral receives a referral of their own, you still get paid.

How much do I get paid for each referral?
You earn an additional 20% off of each of your referral’s non-pending earnings.
You also receive an additional 10% of your second level referral’s earnings as well.
You receive $3.00 when your referral reaches $10 (payout).

Is there a limit to referrals?
No, I’ve seen people who report to make over $1000/month from Cashcrate with referrals alone. I unfortunately am not one of those yet. (I can be optimistic right?)

Alright I’ve joined Cashcrate, how can I better chances of offers going through?
If you’ve already joined CashCrate, and you’re looking for good tips on how to get offers to go through I recommend reading Amy Bass’s writeup here. In addition to the tips she posted, I strongly recommend going to the CashCrate forum where other members post about which offers confirmed for earnings. You have a much better chance of earning money quickly if you watch this thread, and look for those exact offers by name.

Note: Now being realistic here, while I enjoy making money online. I don’t want to make money as a result of someone else’s hardship. (this is one reason why you don’t see me pushing Survey Scout or similar programs on my blog). While reading through the CashCrate forums there are many people who complain of getting billed for Trial Offers. This is why I don’t recommend doing the trial offers or products on Cashcrate, unless you fully read the terms & conditions of each offer carefully. For example one of their offers requires a cell phone number that you need to reply back with a pin to activate. If you don’t read the offer carefully a month later you will get billed for a $10 subscription later on if you don’t cancel it. Please be careful when signing up for each of the offers. I personally stick with the 100% free offers which only send spam e-mail to my newly created free Hotmail accounts.

My thanks goes out to the readers who signed up under me, and made money online for both of us! Good Luck & Happy earnings to everyone! If you’re interested in signing up for a free CashCrate account join by clicking on the banner below.

While I didn’t do as well as I’d hope, I did learn a lot of new things, and I am finding quite a bit of interesting things to read.

September Totals: $23.65

Sparter: $0 (I mentioned gold prices were low this month, so I opted to save my gold for another time)

CashCrate: $20.45 (check is on its way so I’ll take of pic of it when it gets here)

Adsense from Whypark: $3.20

Also some thanks to Shai for motivation since I started the Whypark site to Just make money online. Now that I’ve tried that I’ll try some other projects. I happened to stumble upon Mike’s Money Making Mission, which eventually add my stuff to Zimbio to try as well as add a bunch of new blog directories for some traffic. I hope to make enough money to atleast be able to work from home like Amy eventually.

My goals for October? Well if the WoW gold market doesn’t go back up then I’ll try to hit 20k gold again by the end of October (approximately worth $1-1.5k). I’m about halfway there, and should make 10k gold sometime this week from just playing less than an hour a day.

They requested my telephone number for verification. Lets see if I get a check next month mailed in to me. I’m still waiting for for more offers to clear pending since I have another $29.55 there. I guess what I really should put up on the side there is how much I actually got confirmed from these companies instead of the pending amounts. I’ll fix that today.

So I have been procrastinating about writing some articles up, and making a landing page to advertise some Clickbank products. I don’t know something about writing an official article compared to just blogging just makes it seem harder. Anyways in the midst of trying to figure out what to write the article about I revisited CashCrate. After the horrible experience of signing up for MediaDollarz, I was very reluctant to join another get paid to complete offers site.

This time I made myself ready for the incoming spam though. I created a new account at Hotmail, and used it to sign up with CashCrate. After filling in some details about myself, I found my way to the offers section. This was nicely separated into a cash or point offer section which is sortable by payout amounts as well as 100% free only. Thats the section I chose my offers from, and well after about an hour of filling out applications my balance was a nice pending amount of $11.50. Two of which I are now confirmed as I write this post (so $1.00 confirmed 10.50 pending). I guess this gives me something to do if I’m not working on anything. It also gives me something to add on to the income earned section on my blog finally.

A note for anyone new to these paid to complete offer sites. When completing an offer in CashCrate DON’T click on yes for information regarding other surveys etc. What you will eventually realize is that many of the offers themselves will try to sign you up for offers which are already offered within CashCrate.

Last of all if you try it out, and like the service refer your friends to it for extra money! For every person you refer to CashCrate that reaches the $10 payout mark you get $3. While this program won’t make you rich, it passes the time when you’re bored at home rather profitably.
