If you picked up all the Adamantium off the broker for say 200 each, your cost is higher than the cost of the item that you can sell it for(the reagent cost of a durable breastplate came out to 117k, and only sold for 114k). Resulting in a net loss, unless you crit. Making it not worth the expense/time. If your server's prices on adamantium/fine armor flux/aether gems are cheap. It may be a possibility though. The 117k estimation I put in was using Aether gems @800, Fine Armor Flux @2000, and Adamantium Ore @200. (our server's prices) However if the prices are lower than these.
