So its finally happened. I have finally gotten off my quite lazy behind to join the millions of people who are currently sharing their most private of thoughts to the complete strangers in the world on Twitter. Yes so now I can share to you what I am currently doing instead of posting useful information onto my blog.

Seriously though why do some people have to share every single detail of their life on Twitter. I think the guys over at Penny Arcade described it best in their twitter comic:

Soo true, but anyways I’m looking for some people to follow on there so if you’re a twit, err I mean if you tweat lemme know who you are so I can follow you. Likewise if you want, you can follow me on twitter. Maybe give me a nudge to update my blog more often and what not.

If you have any tips or suggestions on using twitter let me know about it too, as I useful tools.

Check out twhirl and TwitterFox. I use them both depending on my location (I use Twhirl on my laptop as using it on my desktop uses a lot of CPU juice *needs to upgrade CPU*). If you want to broadcast your latest posts, try Twitterfeed, but use it sparingly between your normal tweets, or people will start unfollowing you (I’ve found people unfollowing me when I don’t update in a while using TF, but they’re the ones who don’t find my topics relevant to themselves anyway).

TweetDecks is something I couldn’t do without. It makes sorting messages and friends into groups so much easier. It is also way better than twhirl.

I use twitter, but still don’t see the big deal with it as yet. I need to take a closer look!

@ Sanjo Chan, Yea, I use Twitter fox pretty much exclusively. I’d use Tweetdeck too if It could be installed into firefox.

@ Exile Nice to see you around still. I’ve pretty much cancelled my Warhammer Subscription so just waiting till the next big thing comes along.

@ Rhys – Yes actually I pay close attention to any incoming links, and I did see the posts. However it mentions that he/she left a comment on my blog. Which there isn’t a record of. I read your post, and I think I know why. If that comment poster tried to leave a comment with ‘admin’ then it would have been put into the spam folder automatically. Normally if you’re building links for seo purposes you’d add in a targeted keyword… which in their case, ‘admin’ is not.
