Renown Rank 40 Finally! Extra Mastery Points – Our Servers Alive!

Ding! As of Monday night Minimoses has finally hit renown rank 40, and received my first extra Mastery point. Its probably not a big deal to a lot of you who run scenarios or open RvR often, but for me its a pretty big accomplishment.
I’m not sure why but its taken me alot longer than most to get to renown rank 40, even though I’m a Runepriest. Our guild party has been running Lost Vale, Crypts, Warpblade, and Bastions for gear alot so usually by the time I get home the scenarios have stopped. Which is kind of a bummer, because I want to keep getting more mastery points.
Although on the plus side I think we’re doing alright for progress. We’ve killed all of Sigmar’s Crypts, Grey Seer Quol’tik, Warlock Peenk, Skull Lord Var’Ithrok (Last boss in Bastion Stair after Kaarn), Ahzranok in Lost Vale to name a few that I’ve blogged about. Currently we’re cock-blocked at the spider boss (Dralel the Whitefire Matron) in Lost Vale. I’m pretty sure we can down her, but its realy the annoying fact that we have to reset the instance each time when we wipe. I currently have 4/6 Sentinel pieces, but never wear them due to the fact that the set bonuses are so out of whack.
So if you didn’t know this already, starting at renown rank level 40 you get extra career Mastery Points at every 10 renown ranks. Which if you ever get to renown rank 80, you’ll have a total of 30 Mastery points compared to 25 when you just hit 40. Sweet deal.
Hopefully the server will be as active as its been the last few days. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how the game’s population is doing after the WotLK launch. I was worried when I was comparing Warhammer’s subscriber stats to World of Warcraft via Xfire last month. Maybe people just level too fast in WotLK, and came back to Warhammer. On our server (Azazel) though Destruction can’t seem to get their head out of Tier 3 like ever. Maybe they finally leveled into tier 4 so I can actually get into scenario queues after hours.

What a coincidence. I got RR 40 last night also. Ostermark is a pretty even server with destruction pulling ahead if your guild ever wants to transfer over.

We’re doing pretty good on our server population, I think we’re the 5th largest one.
We finally flipped the zone enough to capture the orc fortress, but when we flipped maw of madness it crashed the server like 5 times =P
RR 40! That’s awesome.
