It's brilliant actually, if done properly. I play several ATV games that already show manufacturer signs and logos but I never really paid attention to this stuff until people started mentioning it.

I was playing a game last night and drove by a HUGE sign over a restaurant with a blatant ad on it, my thought at the time was "well at least they could have put it where I can run it over".

I hope game developers tread lightly with ads but if they can sneak them in and it doesn't irritate me then i'm all for it. It IS money in their pocket which helps them make better games right?

Well, I think its kinda cool if the main point is entertainment. But if the characters are not put there for fun, but for serious purposes - I want them out. After all, I play games to have fun and forget about "the real world".

Subliminal messaging. They don't care if you look, they figure your brain is registering it regardless.

So, the most popular sports game of all time has potentially set up glorious leader propaganda if Obama wins. Just great. Mao would be proud.

And the "early voting has begun" billboard will look great next to all the voter fraud lawsuits that are going on right now.
