Whypark News – DNS Updated, and New Platform to be Launched Soon

I had written a review about Whypark (a different type of domain parking service) quite a few months back. It looks like Craig Rowe is updating Whypark’s DNS as well as letting users know about an upcoming new platform launch in the near future. If you currently use Whypark, and manage your own DNS, you’ll need the following information for it to work correctly. Also look in your inboxes for detailed updated highlights regarding Whypark.
We’ve been incredibly busy over the past 5 months with the development of our new platform, set to launch in beta in the next several weeks. Within the next week, we’ll be sending another email with detailed highlights of the new platform, so you can see what we have in store. In the meantime, here is a quick, but important notice.
DNS Change
In preparation for our new platform launch, we have successfully migrated our servers to a more robust data center that will be able to keep up with our exciting growth. We’re now hosting over 60,000 domain names on our platform. With this move, our IP addresses have changed. What this means
- If you use our nameservers for your domains, ns1.whypark.com and ns2.whypark.com, the migration to our new data center has already taken place. You do not need to make any changes.
- If you manage your own DNS, you will need to make the following change to your A record(s): Our IP address has changed from 207.58.206.106 to 98.129.126.138
Our previous servers will stay online for the next 2 weeks to give you time to make your changes. Again, you only need to make these changes if you do NOT use WhyPark’s nameservers. If you use our nameservers, you do not need to do anything.
New Platform on the Horizon…
As mentioned above, we’ve been diligently working on our new platform since April. We have approximately 2,400 man-hours into this project and are working hard to launch in the coming weeks. Within the next week, we will issue a comprehensive overview of our new platform with screenshots and detailed information. We’ve focused heavily on important issues like making sites more unique, bringing repeat traffic to a site and ways to generate new, relevant traffic. We’ve been itching to publish this information since April and are looking forward to finally sharing our vision with our customers. Thank you,
Craig Rowe
