Looking For a New MMORPG to Play – Waiting For Diablo 3

Let’s face it, this summer MMORPGs are sucking it like the US economy. I’ve been playing Dota again like I usually do when there’s is nothing else to play. Kinda of like the last time when I got bored of World of Warcraft. Also I haven’t had the urge to play Call of Duty 4 since I lost all of my data when I switched over to Vista 64 Ultimate for an operating system. I guess the only thing to do now is to play some Dota, or maybe I should go back to test Warhammer Online MMORPG Beta to keep me occupied this summer.
As for Age of Conan, there really isn’t much to do in the game right now. The game has some HUGE potential to be the next Shadowbane type of FFA online PvP. However the developers are not putting out content fast enough, and in response they are losing subscribers fast. If those guys don’t do anything soon, the game will be the next Anarchy Online. A game that became great 3 years later when they dropped the subscription fee, with a much smaller player base. There’s no money in that, and these guys could have moved alot of the World of Warcrack PvPers over to their game if they had gotten it done right.
So, in the meantime, I’ll be playing Warcraft 3 Dota. Also I’ll be waiting for the Diablo 3 game which is supposed to come out in the next year or two. If you haven’t already seend the trailer here it is for you.

Well there are a few games in the works, that I will be playing. The new Starcraft, Diablo 3 and then there is Startrek Online. Though I suppose you need to be a bit of a Trekkie to enjoy that.
Yea, not going to be too much of a fan of the star trek one probably. Maybe the Star Wars one thats supposed to come out. That and whatever Bioware is creating for an MMORPG.

The teaser for Diablo 3 does look really impressive. I am more of Warcraft kind of guy but I think I will be getting this one. I have complete faith in Blizzard. Almost everything they put out is golden.
