Age of Conan

Sound the Bells of War! I’m going into battle as a squishy Necromancer in Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures. Also since I’m playing from Maui I’ll be on the PVP server called Deathwhisper. So if your playing from Hawaii Standard Time(HST) or Pacific Standard Time(PST) come join me. My in name will be Xight. The live servers starts up on the 20th of May so if you haven’t picked up a copy of the game you should do so.

Also if you want to read all the info in book form about the game pick up the strategy guide. There’s a lot of info to go through when your choosing your classes, and the book makes it easier for me atleast

By the way if you don’t like PVP or hate getting killed from other players while questing I’d strongly recommend joining a PVE server. The game is not as forgiving as World of Warcraft is for PVP. Everyone is a target, and especially glass cannon types who wander around by themselves alot *cough* me *cough*. Anyways, I’m going to go stock up on supplies while the game is currently patching so that I can level up some more. See you all in the game, and please try not to gank me much =P

Very, I think I’ve been playing too much of it lately. The level cap is level 80, and I’m already lvl 76 in less than 2 weeks after the game release. The rate you level compared to World of Warcraft is faster. So far having items or gear doesn’t really matter in PvP as much as teamwork/class balance.

Only downside is that you need a pretty hefty gaming rig to get decent fps. The games revolved more around pvp than anything.

I like PVP, I do not like the grind to level lol.
You know I went back to Warcraft after selling 2 accounts
I guess I miss the gnome gangs chasing me.

I i definitely need a new rig. I want another HP or try building my own (maybe).

Will keep in touch. Dunno I guess WoW is not out of my system after all.

Being on a free for all pvp server where you can pvp anyone that leaves the gate is pretty fun. Although hunting alone means you’ll get steam rolled often hehe. I’m done with the grind now, I just dinged 80 last night, now I just gotta finish up some quests, and gather some stuff.

I’ll do so, I haven’t been blogging much since I’ve been playing too much. We just finished the games first siege last night.

Also I’m upgrading my computer again so I’ll be able to play a little better, and thinking about maybe grabbing a new video card. The 8800 GT works for Age of Conan, but when we did the 48 vs 48 battlekeep siege last night I was getting 1-5 FPS.
