World of Warcraft Meets Tiffany’s – WoW Valentines Commercial

Here I thought i was going to escape this year’s Valentines day rush in my video game world. However it looks like Blizzard is planning on dragging everyone into it in full force this year. What am I babbling about this time you say? Here’s a link to the most recent World of Warcraft commercial which seems to poke fun at the real world jewelry industry.

Now don’t get me wrong about diamonds being forever. I love James Bond movies as much as the next person, but ‘Sockets are forever?’ Come on now Blizzard, there’s alot of good Easter Eggs in game to compete against, and this is all you got? I’m slightly disappointed.

I dunno maybe I’m grumpy this year since I don’t have someone to share my ~~cash~~ time on someone special. Now if they make a WoW jewelcrafting specific Valentines day ring to make for this occasion I might be more interested. Oh well, I hope you enjoy the commercial at least.

You know what? You’re right, I didn’t even notice the release date was 2007. I just don’t remember watching to video before so I thought it was new I guess.
